No matter what you call it, a "fender bender", a "car crash", an "auto accident", after knowing that everyone is ok and after speaking to the police department you need to call your insurance agent.
With Florida being a "no-fault state" there are a couple different points to consider before filing a claim; specifically whos insurance will this be filed under (yours or the other drivers) and is the damage more than your deductible?
If its the other persons fault, call their insurance company as they are responsible to fix repairs and take care of a rental car.
If it is your fault before filing a claim with your carrier get an estimate on the repairs; if the cost is either lower than or not much higher than the deductible you might want to just pay for the repairs "out of pocket". This will actually save you money at renewal time for your auto insurance. Losing your "accident free" standing with the company will cost you more in premiums.
